EMS volunteers vary in level of responsibilities. From covering small local events to being the primary 911 service In smaller communities, the volunteer sector is mostly comprised of individuals looking to help their own communities.

Experience Needed/Experience Gained: Volunteers are harder and harder to come by and individuals from all levels of experience are always welcome. The volunteer sector was, and still is, a great starting point for many career EMS providers .
